1971 Eberhard Schoener gets down to the modern dance theatre. At the House Of Art (Haus der Kunst) in Munich he is performing works by the Italian composers Franco Evangelisti and Egisto Macchi - played and sung simultaneously on four stages. The protagonists are mainly hippies from all over the world. The young audience was amazed - the press complained about the loss of "the new star in the sky of conductors of the classical music".

One year later Eberhard Schoener is meeting the director Johannes Schaaf. He is discovering the fascination of the Gamelan music of Bali during their journeys to Asia together. He is meeting Prince Agung Raka and Swiss painter Theo Meier. Eberhard Schoener will be traveling a lot to Bali in the following years just to develop new music together with the musicians of the Gamelan Orchestra of Price Agung Raka. For the first time the musicians of Bali encounter electronic music. Eberhard Schoener has brought his equipment with him - at that time quite large scale. A television movie and the LP "Bali Agung" are produced. A tour through Germany is following which means a big adventure for the Balinese folks because most of them never left the island Bali before. Nevertheless Eberhard Schoeners curiosity does not stop at ethnical musical experiences.
