„Virtopera” starring the virtual character "Cold Genius", it is the first Internet-opera worldwide in four live web-cast events: Mantua (Italy), Salvador di Bahia (Brazil), Calcutta (India) and Cologne (Germany). Eberhard Schoener understands the Internet as a world-stage which offers the possibility to show styles of the most different cultures without any limitations and to develop new artistic expressions by developing creativity using his own style. "Virtopera" is also created with the participation of the users (chain-poem). The virtual character "Cold Genius" - a manifestation of the Internet - has all the infor-mation but is unable to evaluate or classify. He has also no "soul". At the four scenes of the live events he gets in contact with the people to "experience" emotions through music.
